UCYG Leadership Team

Gavin Uzell
Gavin, 24, is a founding member of the UCYG. He has been volunteering with ATD Ireland since 2015. Over the course of his time with ATD Gavin was part of two Irish delegations that represented ATD Ireland projects at European level in Paris, France and Wijhe, Netherlands. Gavin was part of the team that successful pitched our project to the Coca Cola Thank You Fund. Gavin is a published author in the 'If Only you Knew' stories of change book. He is a social activist and has volunteered with the 'No Bucks Cafe' outreach program providing support for those living homeless in Dublin since 2013 .
Chloe Gavin
Chloe, 21, is a founding member of the UCYG. She has been volunteering with ATD for over a year during which time she represented ATD Ireland in Wijhe, Netherlands. Chloe is a social activists within her community and has been a volunteer with the NYP2 project in Dublin 1 since 2015. Chloe completed the Trainee Youth Worker Program in the Cavan Centre and is now studying Social Care in DIT. She also has experience working in the homeless services in Dublin, something she is passionate about. Chloe is also a member of the ATD Ireland choir but most importantly she is a natural leader!
Calvin D'Arcy Kanda
Calvin, 18, has been a volunteer in ATD Ireland for over a year and was part of the delegation representing Ireland in Wijhe, Netherlands. He is a founding member of the UCYG. Calvin is busy studying for the leaving cert this year in Marino College were he was recently elected as Head Boy. Calvin was awarded with the honor of Volunteer of the Year in 2017 by CDYSP. Calvin is very active in his community volunteering with the NYP2 project, the Cavan Centre, playing GAA for Joseph O'Connell's Boys and boxing with the Corinthians Boxing Club.
Andrew Holohan
Andrew, 24, is a founding member of the UCYG. He has been volunteering with ATD for over a year and was a member of the ATD Ireland delegation that represented Ireland in Wijhe in the Netherlands. Andrew facilitated workshops representing Ireland during his time in the Netherlands. He is a published author of a story of change in the 'If Only You Knew' book released in 2017. He is a social activists and is a regular volunteer with the 'No Bucks Cafe' outreach program supporting those living homeless in Dublin. Andrew is very excited about becoming a father later this year.
Kayleigh Conway

Kayleigh, 22, Is the newest member of the UCYG. She is very active in her community and has been volunteering with various projects since 2012 including; NYP2, the Cavan Centre (where she was awarded Volunteer of the Year), East Wall Water Sports Group. Kayleigh is also studying Social Care in Tallagh IT. As you can see she is very busy but has somehow found time to join our group, we are very lucky to have her!

Magdalena Jansen
Maggy, 19, is spending a year in Ireland as part of the EVS (European Voluntary Service) initiative. As part of this program, Maggy, who is from Germany, is spending a year volunteering with the NYP2 project in Dublin's north inner city. She has been volunteering with ATD Ireland since she arrived in Dublin in 2017. In Germany she has been a scout leader with PSG since 2014. Thankfully Maggy will be with us for the duration of this project and we were delighted when she accepted her invitation to join the UCYG Leadership Team.
